Theloni Coleman is an artist and poet living in Massachusetts. Since early childhood, Theloni has been engaged in art--from electronic keyboard composition since age eight, formal dress design and making since age fifteen, and studio art. Her primary media are charcoal, clay, and acrylic paint. Theloni had been pursuing steps toward a career in microbiology until 2013, when the death of her mother from cancer reignited her art from within. Since 2013, Theloni has been primarily engaged in producing artwork, dress design, and launching Art of Thel. Theloni's artwork is primarily inspired by philosophy, emotional struggle, and survival in spite of disappointment and sorrow.
